Sam is a musician, composer, video editor and filmmaker based in Toronto. He creates scores for films, video games and other multimedia projects. He regularly shoots & edits video for commercial companies, non-profits, independent films and fellow musicians. Sam holds a BFA in Film Production from the University of British Columbia.

Former clients include The Equality Fund, Northern Haus Studios, Outside Records, True Calling and more. Sam was named a Stand Out Film Composer by the Vancouver International Film Festival, and scored his first feature film in 2019.

In addition to scoring and film work, he releases records under his own name - you can find that music here. He most recently directed and edited a music video for his song “Everybody's Keeping Their Word”, working closely alongside cinematographer Jeremy Cox.

Sam likes comic books, houseplants, and swimming.
